GUY TORRY plays
Dolen, a member of a vicious gang that kidnaps and holds hostage
a young girl.
Torry received strong reviews for his stirring portrayal of a jailed inmate who befriends and enlightens a skinhead, played by Edward Norton, in "American History X." He subsequently appeared in the comedy "Life," with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence, and in the hip urban comedy "Trippin'." Most recently he played a cook in "Pearl Harbor," appeared in the comedy "The Animal," and played a homeless paraplegic in "Tara."
On television, he starred in the series "The Strip," and co-starred with Brad Rowe, Vinessa Shaw and Amy Smart in the critically-acclaimed mini-series "The'70s." He has guest starred on "The X Files," "NYPD Blue" and "Showtime at the Apollo," and supplied the voice of Will in the animated series "As Told By Ginger."
Torry began his career as a comedian. He performs regularly at comedy clubs around the country, including L.A.'s Comedy Store, where he produces "Phat Comedy Tuesdays," a weekly showcase for upcoming comedians, now in it's sixth successful year. Torry premiered his stand-up talent on HBO's hit comic showcase "Russell Simmon's Def Comedy Jam," and toured nationally with "Def Comedy Jam" for three seasons before making his acting debut on the "Martin" show.
