The original Sharpe Series consists of 14 two-hour tv films which were originally broadcast over a period of five years in the UK on ITV. They have since been seen all over the world.

During his time working on the series, actor Jason Salkey kept an extensive video record of behind-the-scenes life, both on the set, and off.

Dear Sean Bean fans,

I had the pleasure of reacquainting in the flesh with the Yorkshire lad at a screening for Sharpe's Challenge in London. He had just jetted in from LA but looked fresh and relaxed. He did manage to tell me to he urges all of his fans to buy Episode Six of Harris.

Okay, we were too busy catching up on events of the last few years for him to say that, but he continues to give his blessing to the project.

The sixth Harris episode covers the aftermath of Daragh O'Malley's facial injury and the schedule shuffle it created. With Harper gone and Sharpe accompanied only by his two Chosen Men, the Harris cam alights more and more on Beano.

That's good news for those of you who demand more Beans per minute from their Harris films.

The master tape will be taken to the duplicators shortly and we'll be ready to ship H6 DVDs soon after that. In the mean time all other episodes are available.

Those of you who want to replace their Harris VHSs with DVDs [and are on my database], get in touch with me and I'll arrange a nice price.

As usual, a big thank you to The Compleat's fans - your support is keeping the Harris Project in good health.
