National Treasure, the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced adventure, just ended
its two-week shoot here. There was no wrap party, because filming will
continue in L.A., but Bruckheimer and star Nicolas Cage ate dinner at
Morimoto on Thursday and joined cast and crew for drinks later at Denim
Lounge. Incidentally, local chefs came up wanting on this film project.
Cage's contract called for on-set grub prepared by Tony's Catering, which
sent trucks and staff from Chatsworth, Calif. Tony's is the company of
choice for Clint Eastwood, Bruce Willis and Robert De Niro.
