'Flight' Path: Christensen Aboard Thriller

NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - Erika Christensen ("Swimfan")

is boarding the thriller "Flight Plan," opposite Jodie Foster and

Peter Sarsgaard.

Sean Bean ("The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring") also

is negotiating to take off in the Disney feature, sources said.

"Flight" follows the in-air plight of a woman (Foster) whose daughter

mysteriously disappears while on board a passenger jet. Robert Schwentke

is directing the project, with shooting scheduled to start next month.

Christensen will play Fiona, a rookie flight attendant embroiled in the

mysterious transatlantic trip. Bean would play a pilot; Sarsgaard

("Garden State") would play a passenger trying to get the situation

under control. Christensen's credits also include "The Perfect Score"

and "Traffic."
