PATRICK SMITH KELLY (Screenplay) wrote the script for "A Perfect Murder" starring Michael Douglas and Gwyneth Paltrow and produced by Anne and Arnold Kopelson. Kelly will make his directorial debut on "Dare," a big-screen adaptation of the 1997 BBC film "Truth or Dare" for Regency Enterprises. He will also write the screenplay. Kelly also wrote the script for "Ghost Ship," in development at DreamWorks Pictures.

Raised in Colorado, Kelly attended the University of Colorado at Boulder. He moved to New York where he did stand-up comedy for five years. He subsequently relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in screenwriting.
