Michael Douglas signs up for thriller
New father Michael Douglas is hoping his next project will scare
a few movie-goers.
Douglas and director Gary Fleder ("Kiss The Girls") have committed to a new thriller titled "Don't Say A Word." It is expected to go into production on Nov. 29, Variety reports.
The film is follows a New York psychiatrist whose daughter is kidnapped and is based on the book by Andrew Klaven.
Of course "Don't Say A Word" won't be Douglas's first venture into the thriller genre. The actor has scored some of his biggest hits with fist-clenchers such as "Fatal Attraction," "Basic Instinct" and "The Game".
Although Douglas has been busy working lately,
appearing in the critically lauded "Wonder Boys" earlier
this year, most of the stories written about him lately haven't
focused on his work but on his new baby with Zeta-Jones, as well
as the couple's up-coming nuptials.
